about
Bricolage is a collection of seven improvised electric-acoustic guitar solos. For each improvisation, I limited myself to the use of a single object or preparation for the entirety of the piece. Using this concept I intended for each piece to have its own unique identity and the development of the improvisations to be led by the rhythmic and textural possibilities of the objects themselves. The track titles refer to the objects or preparations used.
