Recorded nearly 11 years to the day after their last sessions together, it was time to get the band back together. While earlier albums were a product of reductionism and the (then) new silence, this new recording is a beast to be reckoned with. The blend of Lee’s arsenal of instruments and techniques and Barry’s acoustic guitar assault is seamless, at times the two are indistinguishable. A wild ride, indeed!
